Robyn Linn — The 8-Week Memoir
For the Story You've Been Holding

The 8-Week
Memoir

Bespoke. Not Bullsh*t.

A guided, intimate experience to write your memoir and ink your truth.

Let's Talk

Even As An Award-Winning Writer, I Had It All Backwards.

25 years in the publishing world couldn't save me from making all the mistakes I'm about to help you avoid when writing your memoir for mainstream publication.

If you've been carrying a story, but got stuck — it's not you, and it's not writer's block. It's a defined process nobody's telling you.

The story is yours.
The craft is mine.
We weave it together.

The Origin

My Near $25,000 Mistake Can Save You From This Publishing Disaster.

A NYC editor wanted $25K to edit my memoir to completion, which felt off. I hired and fired five more editors before finally landing on the truth. This insight alone would've saved me thousands of dollars and months of research.

And now I've taken everything — the craft, the process, the industry insight — to guide you through writing and publishing your memoir so you get it right the first time.

Robyn Linn
Who Am I?

I'm Robyn Linn — an award-winning journalist turned entrepreneur. I've built multi-million dollar brands and helped thousands of clients tell stories they didn't have the courage to share. I wrote for high-gloss magazines, produced my own TV show, and edited for one of the top newspapers in America — yet nothing prepared me for the hardest writing of my life: my memoir.

How strange, there's a streamlined publishing path, but no one was guiding me through it. Now I'm here to help you avoid getting stuck in the wrong publishing process like I did.

What Is This?

I'm not here to teach you how to be an "authorpreneur." That's a given and should come through who you are. I'm here to help you document your truth — your story — and free yourself from the past by honoring it with an epic manuscript.

Who Is This For?

Anyone ready to document their story in a way that leads to deeper self-acceptance, honoring the past with appreciation, and gifting the world with your unique insight. Offering a memoir for business leverage works, too, especially for coaches.

Not a Writer? Good.

You don't need to be. You need a willingness to observe your story with fresh eyes. The craft — scene, dialogue, structure, sensory connection, without attaching to the trauma or past — is what I bring. We can get it done in 8 weeks if you're ready to move, or longer if that's what your story insists.

How Does This Work?

We work in 1-1 live sessions and private email engagement. We'll anchor into a solid action plan from day one, tailored specifically to your schedule and pace.

What Do You Walk Away With?

A captivating and provocative manuscript prepped for agent pitch. It's not a diary or journal.

Here's the Process
Phase One
The Foundation

We masterpiece your book's outline — the anchor points of the entire manuscript. We write your author bio, draft your three strongest chapters, and define your signature voice and style. From here, we build the book summary, craft an agent-ready proposal, and pitch it to genre-specific agents.

Phase Two
The Complete Manuscript

We write the full draft — 60,000 words — built on our foundation.

Phase Three
The Revision

Once the right agent is engaged, we move into a deep edit based on the publisher's needs and your audience's interests. You can work with me or my A-List London-based editor for this final phase.

Every plan is customized exclusively for you. Limited spots available per year.

The Real Path

4 Memoir Myths

"Write what happened and tell your story."
Don't report your life. Write in scene — like a guest eavesdropping.
"You need a finished manuscript first."
You need a vision and a proposal. The publisher decides the angle. Then you edit.
"You need to be a good writer."
You need to be visceral. The fragrance, the sounds, the dialogue. Craft, not talent.
"Complete the manuscript, then pitch."
You don't pitch with a 60k word manuscript. You need three well-crafted chapters, an outline, and a well-pitched book summary. Agents pitch publishers who define your angle of revision. Then we build it out and edit.

I guide you through the entire process so you don't get lost or give up. This is for those ready to tell your story.

I'm helping you write your truth
& honor your lineage.
